

Feyenoord will face VfL Wolfsburg in the round of 16 of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup, Friday’s draw has confirmed.
Feyenoord secured their place in the round of 16 last Wednesday. Marc Pieters’ side had won the first leg against Vålerenga 4-1 at Varkenoord. A week later, Feyenoord were beaten 2-1 in the return leg in Oslo, sealing a 5-3 aggregate victory.
The draw paired Feyenoord with VfL Wolfsburg. The German club finished second in the Frauen-Bundesliga last season.
First and second legs
The round-of-16 ties will be played on 28 or 29 October and 10 or 11 November. Feyenoord will play the first leg in Germany, before Wolfsburg travel to Rotterdam for the return. The exact match dates and kick-off times will be announced on Monday 5 October.

UEFA Women’s Europa Cup format
The winner of the tie will advance to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. The quarter-finals will also be played over two legs.
