Feyenoord let the top-of-the-table clash against FC Twente slip away in the absolute dying moments. After Jessica Torny’s side came back from behind twice in Enschede, the home team scored the winning 3–2 in stoppage time.
The opening goal didn’t come until the second half. Just after the break, FC Twente took the lead. Only a few minutes later, Zera Hulswit scored the equaliser for Feyenoord.
Twente then managed to take the lead again, but through Kirsten van de Westeringh, Feyenoord drew level once more.
Torny’s team seemed on course to leave the pitch with a deserved 2–2, but in the last seconds of the match, the 3–2 still fell.
Because of this defeat, Feyenoord now sit in third place in the Eurojackpot Vrouwen Eredivisie, four points behind FC Twente and Ajax.
