Feyenoord departs today (Friday) for Qatar. The team, led by Jessica Torny, will stay in Doha until Friday, January 10, as part of their preparations for the second half of the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie season.
A number of injured players will also travel with the group to Qatar to continue working on their recovery. Additionally, 18-year-old Japanese forward Mao Itamura will join Feyenoord as a trial player.
However, Jada Conijnenberg will not travel to the Middle East as she is finalizing an outgoing transfer.
Alongside several training sessions, a friendly match is also scheduled. On Wednesday, January 8, Feyenoord will play against Qatar FC. The match will kick off at 6:30 PM local time (8:30 PM Dutch time). For updates, follow Feyenoord V1’s social media channels on Instagram, X, and TikTok!
