Feyenoord V1 marked their first game after the international break with an impressive victory away against sc Heerenveen, winning 0-3. In the Abe Lenstra Stadium, Esmee de Graaf, Jada Conijnenberg, and Toko Koga scored on Saturday night for Jessica Torny’s team.
Feyenoord quickly took the lead in Heerenveen. Ten minutes into the game, Esmee de Graaf was sent through and didn’t hesitate in a one-on-one with the home team’s goalkeeper, putting Feyenoord up 0-1.
Following this early lead, Feyenoord had several big chances to extend the score. Ella Van Kerkhoven came close twice before halftime, hitting the underside of the crossbar with two headers. Halftime score: 0-1.
Second half
After the break, Feyenoord continued to create chances. After 62 minutes, Romée van de Lavoir seemed poised to score the crucial second goal, but her close-range shot went wide.
Five minutes later, the goal finally came: Jada Conijnenberg, who had been on the field for less than ten minutes, beautifully finished off a cross from Sanne Koopman, making it 0-2.
Ten minutes before the end, the score was made even more impressive. Toko Koga’s shot deflected slightly on its way into the net behind the Heerenveen keeper. With her first goal for Feyenoord, the Japanese international set the final score at 0-3.
