Lucy Heij signed her first professional contract with Feyenoord this week. The 19-year-old player of Feyenoord Vrouwen 1 signed the agreement in the Boardroom of De Kuip, committing herself to the club until mid-2026.
"This contract feels like the ultimate reward for all the hard work over the past years," said Heij. "I’m proud to be able to play for this great club. In the coming season, I want to continue developing and hope to get more and more playing time. My goal for the future is to become a regular starter and win trophies."
Since her move to Feyenoord in 2021, Heij has progressed through the club's entire youth academy. Since last season, the Netherlands Under-19 youth international has been a permanent member of head coach Jessica Torny's squad, and so far has made six official appearances.
