Feyenoord have learned with sadness of the death of Jarda Paciorek. The Czech was part of Feyenoord's youth academy and first team for many years in the late 1990s. Paciorek aged 45.
Jarda Paciorek joined compatriot Jarda Simr at the age of 15 at Varkenoord in the summer of 1995, where he represented several youth teams. Later, he also progressed to the A-selection, although he would eventually only make playing minutes in practice matches.
After a rental period at Excelsior, Paciorek made his Eredivisie debut at Fortuna Sittard. The midfielder played in Limburg until 2001, after which he returned to the Czech Republic.
Feyenoord wishes family and relatives much strength in coping with this loss.
