Authorities have issued Inbeom Hwang his combined residence and work permit, allowing the newly recruited 27-year-old midfielder to train and play matches for Feyenoord with immediate effect.
The 61-time South Korean international recently transferred from Serbian champion Crvena Zvezda and signed a four-season contract until mid-2028. Now that the experienced Hwang is allowed to play, he can make his debut for Feyenoord coming Thursday in the first Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen. A stage on which he has played on several occasions with his previous club. Feyenoord and the German national champion kick off Thursday at 6:45 p.m. at De Kuip.
