Feyenoord has reached an agreement with Jessica Torny to extend her contract. The current agreement of the 44-year-old head coach of Feyenoord Vrouwen 1 has been extended by two seasons, keeping Torny at the helm until mid-2027.
“I’m happy to remain the head coach of Feyenoord Vrouwen 1 for the coming years,” said Torny, who has been with the club since January 2023. “We can all look back on a solid season in which we achieved our objectives as a team and made clear progress. Now it’s time to take the next step forward so we can close the gap with the top teams in the league.”
Manon Melis, Head of Women’s Football at Feyenoord, is very pleased with Torny’s contract extension. “The path we started a few years ago with the appointment of Jessica is clearly starting to bear fruit. With her continued presence as head coach, we have full confidence that we can keep building toward our long-term goals.”
Under Torny’s leadership, Feyenoord Vrouwen 1 currently sits in fifth place in the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie, with one match left to play. Additionally, just like last season, the team reached the semi-finals of the TOTO KNVB Cup.
