Feyenoord and SK Sturm Graz have reached an agreement on the loan of Jeyland Mitchell, including an option to buy. The 20-year-old Costa Rican defender, who was signed from LD Alajuelense last year, will spend the remainder of the season with the Austrian club.
Last season Mitchell made a total of nine first-team appearances for Feyenoord as a substitute, including several in the UEFA Champions League. At Sturm Graz, who will visit De Kuip in January for the seventh match of the league phase of the UEFA Europa League, the powerful defender will be aiming for more minutes at the highest level in the coming season.
