Jordan Lotomba has suffered a fracture in his lower leg and will therefore be unavailable for Feyenoord for the next few months. The 26-year-old right winger has since undergone surgery to recover properly and as quickly as possible from the bone fracture.
Lotomba suffered the injury in very unfortunate fashion earlier this week during a training session ahead of the league match against RKC Waalwijk. Since joining Feyenoord in early September, the Swiss played 13 official matches for the club.
Julián Carranza out of action this month
Feyenoord are also unable to call on Julián Carranza in the coming weeks. The striker already missed last Saturday's meeting with Fortuna Sittard due to a calf injury he sustained in the match against Manchester City. Carranza will undergo a recovery programme in his homeland Argentina in the coming weeks, before returning to Feyenoord at the end of this month to continue working towards his return.
Ibrahim Osman joins group training
Ibrahim Osman rejoined group training earlier this week. The speedy outfielder had been struggling with an upper leg injury since early November, which he sustained in the Champions League match against RB Salzburg. Osman is now training fully with the group.
Apart from the aforementioned players, Quilindschy Hartman, Ayase Ueda, Hugo Bueno and Jeyland Mitchell are still following a modified (recovery) programme due to injuries.
