The first international break of the season has begun. Quinten Timber, Sem Steijn, Ayase Ueda, Tsuyoshi Watanabe, Jordan Bos, Anis Hadj Moussa, Leo Sauer and Gaoussou Diarra have all been called up to the final squad of their national team.
The Netherlands, Japan, Slovakia, Algeria and Mali are all in action this week in World Cup qualifiers. Meanwhile, Japan and Australia use the international break for friendlies. The Netherlands U21 also continues their European qualification campaign, with Jaden Slory — who featured for Feyenoord against Excelsior last weekend — receiving a call-up. Fresh Feyenoord debutant Thijs Kraaijveld has been selected for two friendly matches with the Netherlands U19.
No fewer than eight Feyenoord players have joined the Netherlands U17 squad: Jivayno Zinhagel, Tim de Koning, Finn Baks, Joshua Wilbrenninck-van Cuilenborg, Boaz Plantinga, Mika Pieterse, Jerayno Schaken and Ibrahim Faik. Below is an overview of all fixtures and appearances:
