Feyenoord has started the Europa League with a defeat. In their away match against Braga, Robin van Persie’s team was largely powerless for ninety minutes and conceded a late goal: 1-0.
Malcolm Jeng made his official debut for the club in central defence in Portugal. The more than one thousand traveling Feyenoord fans also saw Cyle Larin in action for the first time, as he played his first minutes of the match as a substitute in the second half.
Feyenoord can now refocus on the Eredivisie: this Sunday, they will face FC Groningen away at the Euroborg (kick-off 14:30).
