Feyenoord qualified for the eighth finals of the TOTO KNVB Beker on Tuesday night. Visiting MVV in Maastricht, the team made things difficult for themselves, but eventually won through two goals from Zépiqueno Redmond.

For the young striker, it was his first two goals in the Rotterdam main squad. He scored the first as early as the third minute, when he ran in an excellent cross from Dávid Hancko. His second followed midway through the second half, which seemed to put Feyenoord in safe haven.
Thanks to a slip by Facundo González, however, it still turned into a precarious last quarter of an hour for Feyenoord, who were not looking too steady and focused anyway. Despite a good number of opportunities for the home side, the win was secured within 90 minutes, allowing the focus to be fully on next Sunday's top match against PSV.
