In March of 2025 Tennessee SC traveled with their U11 team to Rotterdam for their annual Team Trip. During their stay they had training led by Feyenoord Academy coaches and played friendly games against strong opponents. They had the opportunity to play against the Feyenoord Academy and Academy partner V.V. Spirit. ‘’The TSC annual trip to the Feyenoord Academy is something that our members look forward to every year. The immersion into the Feyenoord culture is an experience unmatched by any other and the personal attention, our young players receive from their academy staff is world class’’ said Mike Otto who has traveled to Rotterdam multiple times with different teams.
Jimmy Drain the tournament director also joined the team on the trip: “We enjoyed yet another fun and exciting experience to the Netherlands this spring and want to thank the Feyenoord Academy for hosting our players, coaches, and families.We appreciate the hands on approach by our hosts and look forward to a potential return in 2026”

The players had an overall great experience and had great learning opportunities. This Team Trip was also valuable for the Tennessee SC coaching staff. The Feyenoord Academy coaches gave them the chance to exchange their expertise on the pitch.
