Thijs Kraaijeveld officially joins Feyenoord 1 squad

Kraaijeveld made his debut at the start of this season in the away match against Sparta Rotterdam. He has also trained extensively with Robin van Persie's squad and made his first start last week in the European match against Real Betis.

From now on, Kraaijeveld, who can play both in midfield and central defence, is officially part of the first team. The youth international will also have a new shirt number: he will switch from 47, which he has played with so far, to 24.

Luciano Valente is also switching shirt numbers. The midfielder will wear number 10 from Sunday's away match against FC Utrecht, which became available after Cyle Larin's departure.
