Three players from the Feyenoord U19 women's team have been included in the Netherlands U17 squad for the 2025 World Cup in Morocco. They are Abigayle van Lint, Kim Rietveld, and Jayda Vinckers from Jong Feyenoord Vrouwen.
The Netherlands U17 has qualified for the finals of a World Cup for the very first time. The team of head coach Olivier Amelink secured its ticket to the World Cup earlier this year by winning the U17 European Championship, which took place in the Faroe Islands.
The Netherlands has been placed in Group B and will face Cameroon (Saturday, October 18, 8:00 p.m. Dutch time), Mexico (Tuesday, October 21, 8:00 p.m.), and reigning world champion North Korea (Friday, October 24, 8:00 p.m.) in the group stage.
