Feyenoord will enter the new season with an updated logo, thanks to a couple of minor changes that have been applied. The renewed logo has been approved by the ‘Stichting Continuïteit’ (StiCo), that guards the clubs’ cultural heritage.
In total it concerns four adjustments: a tighter alignment of the words ‘Feyenoord’ and ‘Rotterdam’ by equalizing the spacing in between the letters. A brighter red has been applied to the left part of the logo and the characteristic F has been put front and center. Next to that the golden dividing line in the middle has been removed. By doing this the club returns to the basis of the current logo which also didn’t have a line in the middle.
It’s not the first time in Feyenoord’s history that a renewed clublogo is introduced. Over the years a couple of variances have occurred. The last time the logo was changed, dates back to 2009, after the club made use of a special jubilee logo in the 2008-2009 season because of its hundredth anniversary. An overview of Feyenoord logos throughout the years:
The adjustments to the logo are part of Feyenoord’s renewed visual identity which is being rolled out this summer. The first signs of this renewed visual identity are currently surfacing. Given the scale of the entire operation, it will take the better part of the upcoming season to be fully executed. Final piece of the operation will be the 2025-2026 kit which will carry the renewed logo.
