Feyenoord welcomes Vopak as its new Social Partner from this season. The club and the Rotterdam-based storage company, which specialises in the safe storage of energy and raw materials in the world's biggest ports, enter into a three-year partnership.
Feyenoord and Vopak want to jointly promote the talent development and health of young people in Rotterdam-South. In concrete terms, this means that Vopak will support Feyenoord's social programmes. The focus here is on the topics of education, sustainability and development of young people in Rotterdam-South. In addition, Feyenoord will recruit and mentor Vopak employees to support the social activities. Education programme Club1908 also gets a boost in both quality and quantity thanks to the cooperation.
Indispensable support

Vopak WeConnect Foundation
The Vopak WeConnect Foundation, established in 2017, enables Vopak employees to organise volunteer projects and one-day events. These projects and events focus on improving the lives of young people in communities around Vopak terminals, with an emphasis on the (personal) development of young people and contributing to more sustainable communities.
Since its inception, the foundation has supported more than 80 projects, reaching more than 15,000 young people worldwide.
